There will be a difference too in the age of the person answering your questions. What I wasnted 18 is not want I found at 48.... but here goes :)
Traits= honesty, humor, quiet strength, being cared for without being pocessed.
getting their attention= depends on the girl. some like the nice guys, some like the bad, some like funny, some like brainy. Find out what her insterests are and see how close you come.
how smart= depends on the girl. I like a guy that has a brain... not a know it all....I like more of a Ken Jennings from Jeapardy type. (geek) I know I don't like someone that only thinks of B-ball and nascar. (no man-boys)
active= depends again on the girl.
how to tell about liking= don't just tell me show me. No money, don't sweat it. pick me flowers from a vacant lot... it's not where they came from but that you were thinking about me.

We'd seen a "fight" (perhaps I should say "slaughter") between 2 girls in which the black girl basically sat on the white's stomach and punched her face until her nose and lips bled.
The white girl was regarded as one of the prettiest girls on campus but when we saw her this morning, her face was swollen and covered in bruises. My friend found this funny and said she deserved it for flirting with the sista's bf. Then she asked me why white girls are so easy and lack the dignity to keep our legs closed. I told her she was racial stereotyping and that it was like saying 'all black girls are aggressive'. She said I was mistaking strength for aggression and that black women don't take crap because they have pride and dignity, which white girls lack.
I didn't try to argue cuz I could see she was angry but I was hurt by her words and wondered if a lot of people think this way or if my friend is being unfair?

We'd seen a "fight" (perhaps I should say "slaughter") between 2 girls in which the black girl basically sat on the white's stomach and punched her face until her nose and lips bled.
The white girl was regarded as one of the prettiest girls on campus but when we saw her this morning, her face was swollen and covered in bruises. My friend found this funny and said she deserved it for flirting with the sista's bf. Then she asked me why white girls are so easy and lack the dignity to keep our legs closed. I told her she was racial stereotyping and that it was like saying 'all black girls are aggressive'. She said I was mistaking strength for aggression and that black women don't take crap because they have pride and dignity, which white girls lack.
I didn't try to argue cuz I could see she was angry but I was hurt by her words and wondered if a lot of people think this way or if my friend is being unfair?

im in a big rut rite now with finding a girl friend i never had one in my hole life and rite now im 19 never been kissed by one either and theres a girl thats still in high school i have a huge crush on i turned down a few girls cause id like a chance with this girl i like in high school should i tyr for sum other girl or just keep on trying for her im out of high school but i try to go up to the school and find her to talk to her to me she is the cuteist thing in the world girls what would you think if you were in high school or are in high school and sum guy that you never knew came up to you and told you he liked you alot and asked you out what would you think of him would you laugh at him or think hes sweet would you give him a chance?why do i get scared when i go try to ask a girl out what can i do to try and not be scared

So my universal question for today is do High School girls (single girls) really want to be approached by guys. I mean i look average, everyone know girls like to be approached by hot guys, but im not a hot guy im just average and there a few girls that i want to talk. But i get this feeling like they wouldn't want me to talk to them. Some of these girls are busy with work to do(since it is school). But i just can't picture a girl reacting positively to me approaching them. Plus im black and i go to a mostly all white school so most of the girls i want to approach are either white or puertorican. But what do you guys think?? Do girls really want to be appraoched by average looking guys??
