Ghetto white girls?

Why is it that when black and latinas complain about white women, they don't target the ghetto-acting, black-washed white girls who are secretly making them miserable? They aren't all bad, but you know what I'm talking about. The white girls who put their hair in up-dos and try and talk with a latina accent or white girls that go out with black guys and try and act like a stereotypical black girl and has a rude, nasty disposition (and usually is overweight and/or ugly to match).





Why is it that black and latinas befriend those kind of rude, nasty girls, yet hate on white girls that did nothing to them? Again I'm not saying all ghetto white girls are like that, but a lot of them are rude and nasty and I don't understand why black and latinas can go being friends with them but not regular white girls and nicer white girls. Are they intimidated by ghetto-acting white girls?





I noticed if a black/latin guy goes out with a normal white girl who acts like herself there's a problem

no matter if your black, latino, or white, why in the world would someone want to be ghetto, loud, uneducated, and rude. it isn't something i am proud of. why have blacks/hispanics accepted the white american stereotype that we can't be smart, educated, successful, beautiful, happy, of course we can. you can always prove people wrong. seriously. its dumb to me. many of the most succesful civilizations were the ancient egyptians, mayans, and aztecs, it makes no sense to me. those were black and hispanic cultures, that knew of math, science, english, astronomy, astrology, etc. they were smart people. its so wack. how people cave in under pressure. stand strong, and stand tall. believe in you, and the efforts in you. if you believe in yourself, love yourself, unconditionally, no one can put you down, or make you feel small. if people don't like it tough.

Reply:Sir, I think that you are so wrong maybe because we are in different environments. I'm an African American southern girl. With that in mind I don't see a lot of this. I do see a lot of interracial dating here and I myself am one half of a international marriage. I believe that birds of the same feathers flop together. On some level we are all products of our environment so people that behave in an immature manor are attracted to people who also behave in the same fashion. This has very little to do with race.

Why is it that you automatically attribute these qualities to black women, and it's ok... but when a white girl has these qualities, then all of a sudden it's "not characteristic". Get over yourself. You think all black people are ghetto, then when you see a black person with class it's because "white" has rubbed off on them... and vice versa. Just face it... some white people are ghetto -- and they're just "acting like themselves". If you would actually use your brain, you might see that the reason that these girls are not getting along with each other might be due to class differences.

What I see, are young lady's who have low self-esteem trying to fit in the best way they know how.


Color and finances have separated people for far too long.


None of those things are important and none of those things have any lasting value.


Whose to say what is normal?

Reply:I think i know what your talking about %26amp; i've seen it happen, but on the other hand, as for me, i'm not "ghetto" i have for the most part smart friends that are black, white, latinas %26amp; i dunno i could care less about who dates who %26amp; for me i would hope ppl would want to date a girl that's herself, not some girl who tries to be something she's not? but maybe it's because those girls feel intimidated %26amp; might think that their guys are getting "whitewashed" somehow %26amp; they're not good enough for them, but yeah i know what ur referring to....
Reply:I get what u are saying. No, they, of all ppl(Black women %26amp; Latinas) are strong(personality wise), so they aren't intimidated by these fake white women. I think the reason they befriend them is b/c they seem so much alike, they probably have the same personalities and like the same things(music, clothes, etc.) I don't know any "ghetto" white girls, i do know of some at my school, but i'm not really friends with them.The only "white" friends i have are those who have a white mom(mostly German) and a Black dad, biracial girls, who aren't even "ghetto." They just identify with their Black side more than their White side. I don't have anything against them(ghetto actin white girls) , just that i think they are fake and should act like themselves and be real.

Reply:Well - I think it has to do with the perception that the"ghetto" White girls are truely open to them and the culture. As opposed to maybe believing that a non-ghetto white girl believes she is better than. I dont know - I dont really like the term - ghetto and non-ghetto. There are plenty of poor whites, who can related to poor Blacks and Latinos and that is what you are seeing. Just like an educated Black woman might find it easier to befriend an educated White woman. Its called classism.

Whereas you're trying to find the explanation by focusing on the differences of skin color and race (black vs. latin vs. white), the answer is beyond that. It's apparent that the girls are identifying not racially but socially.





People who talk the same dialect, listen to similar music or dress in similar fashions tend to identify with each other. That's the first lesson you learn in high school.





So of course a latin girl may not be in love with white girls, but may relate to one quicker that talks, acts and thinks like her.
