Girl that got beat by 6 girls and 2 dumb guys?

Do you think it is the internets fault,, well not the internet but like Myspace , Youtube and some TV.

Or do you think it is the parents fault?

I think that it is the internets fault, specially myspace. Myspace is full of DRAMA! Drama causes fights. These girls were influenced by myspace and youtube, if you watch the vid, one of the girls says "oh hell yea, its all in camera" one of the reporters said that the girls wanted to get famous off of this vid on youtube. I think the internet has gone nuts. Almost every website that you go to, theyre has to be a girl half naked, guys think its hot, girl want guys to think they are hot, so what do they do, take pics of them naked and post them on the internet. I think the internet has alot to do with those girls.

I cant really blame the parents of the girl getting hit because they did not know it was going to happen, the girls were cheerleaders and cheerleader always meet up at places, how were the parents suppose 2 what they were gonnado

Girl that got beat by 6 girls and 2 dumb guys?
I blame the 8 people who, essientially, beat her almost to death. They should be tried as adults and locked up for 25 years, the criminals.

And just so you know, when they got arrested, they were laughing and joking around in the back of the police car. One girl even said, "I hope I get out in time for soccer practice."

They showed no remorse.

One could argue that this is the parent's fault, and they should have taught them better. But these people are a stage in their lives where they can easily diffrentiate between right and wrong, and this obviously falls under the "wrong" category.

It is most definently not the internet's fault. Facebook, MySpace, and YouTube were created for mature teenagers. That's why you have to be a certain age to sign up. These people were immature and made a bad choice. We shouldn't blame the internet, we should blame the "humans" who take advantage of the internet in the worst way.
Reply:Myspace, and youtube can not be held accountable for some dumb @$$ teenage girls mistake. They know the difference between right and wrong. That's the problem parents should teach their children to be held accountable for their actions. And to SPONTANIA, not all teenagers are like that. I know some teens that have more common sense than a middle aged adult.
Reply:its 99.9% the fault of those 6 evil girls and 2 stupid boys. the parents are to blame as well, they don't seem to even care what their daughters did! plus, today's tv and internet has just gotten to violent. kids are being exposed to things they shouldnt be exposed to.

those girls are useless pieces of trash. they thought they were going to humiliate the girl they beat up by posting that video on youtube?! ARE THEY SERIOUS? this shows how plain stupid they are. posting a video of them beating up another girl humiliates themselves. it lets everyone know what trashy, violent, heartless, cold people they really are. plus-- did they seriously think they weren't going to get caught?! stupid girls. and those two ugly low life boys.

the thing that makes me so mad is how they show no remorse, they were asking if they could go to their cheer practice. seriously, those kids need to be taught a lesson. they need to be locked up for years, because they dont deserve the freedom of getting out of jail

sorry for my rant but that video seriously made me mad.

i don't normally wish bad things on people, but since they are bad people.... its okay. haha i hope the rest of their lives are a living hell and they spend alot of time behind bars!
Reply:I'm of the opinion that there's plenty of blame to go around and frankly,it starts at home. The parent;s of those little monsters should be made responsible for their atrocious behavior and,the perps should be treated like any other felon with no special consideration. It was a carefully staged, thought out attack and in front of a camera of all things!Of course they were going to put it on the internet ,yet another irresponsible thing to do since they obviously thought jumping a defensless girl was "cute" wait til the little b%26amp;^%$s get to lock-up with the hardcases. I give them 2 seconds before they start screaming for Mommy
Reply:dont blame it on myspace those 8 ppl werent forced to do wat dey did
Reply:where can i get the video?

and i don't blame anyone. that's just how teens are. we all crave to be popular, and they knew fighting somebody on tape would make that happen.

if there is anyone to blame, it is the natural peckin order of the world. and those kids that beat her up b/c they should know that was a really mismatched fight, and it would make them look weak, not strong. cuz it wasnt fair.

nd they shudnt be so petty!
Reply:I hope these kids rot in jail so that they can't spread their seed and spread their stupidity.
Reply:It has nothing to do with the internet. I knew when I got a facebook, this could change what I did... but I still got one because I know that I can communicate with old friends that live in columbia. You can't blame MySpace/ Facebook/ Youtube. There are good people in this world who use those sites for a good reason. The parents are not at much fault. I am almost 16, and at our age... we know what's right and wrong!! I know as teenagers, we don't like to listen to our parents... so maybe the parents kept telling them all through childhood, violence that's not the answer. I was watching an interview with her parents and the mom said "Parents can't be with their kids 24/7, so the parents don't have much to blame. Kids know what they are doing, and I'm sure those girls realized what they were doing was wrong." I agree with the mom, you can raise your kid to be a nice person and then something happens and they snap!! Blame the kids, not the parents. I just hope the girl comes back and sues their ***!!
Reply:It's interesting - I haven't heard anyone reference Michael Haneke's movie "Benny's Video" when discussing this situation. 16 years ago that movie foreshadowed the results of combining technology and parental detachment.

Have the Native Americans sued Smith and Wesson?
