Girls could never stand to compliment?

Why is it that if it's a BOY asking for an opinion from people here ( Yahoo Q%26amp;A) lots of girls will response and say. "yea" . Basically praising the moron and telling him how attractive he is.





Now, I notice something. If it's a girl who post her picture and is asking for a rating, opinion, suggestions, she gets beat down, insulted, and get called all kinds of names from other girls.





Wow, is our society THAT sad. Girls hate each other so much that they cannot even appreciate and be honest by complementing another girl? Is it always have to be so catty?? I don't get it.





I never posted a picture of myself asking if I am this or that, but I have seen a few post from other people. And with that, I have also seen the responses and some of them are pretty catty. Mostly from other girls.





I guess *some* girls just cannot stand to compliment another girl. Not saying that you should be dishonest. But telling a very obvious mean comment is just plain wrong.

Reply:Well from what I've seen alot of the girls in this particular section come here for the sole purpose of being mean to someone else.And in all actuality this behavior is just normal for most girls.They want to make themselves feel better by trying to make someone else feel worse.It happens all the time in schools.It's a form of bullying.And what better place to do this than online?It's pretty much anonymous.They won't really suffer the repercussions they would if they were doing this kind of thing in real life.You're very right,it is sad that our society has lowered itself to this.When I answer a question like that I try to be as honest as possible.If I see a pretty girl I will usually tell her she's pretty unless they're obviously fishing for compliments.There's realy not alot that can be done about it though.It's been this way for a long time but the internet has made it easier.I wish there was a miracle cure for b*tchy but there isn't.
