Girls avoiding me?

Im confused on why girls avoid me at times. This is one main reason i get afriad to talk to them. Like 1 girl i met saw me going down the hall and turned the other way, another one saw me in the library, she seemed like she was going to stay but then she turned my direction and left, this happened with another girl to. I thought girls liked confident guys, i don't see why they are avoinding me, im not clingy, i don't look that bad, and I make the 1st move, why would a girl want to avoid me. This kind of scared me out of talking to girls because i don't want them all avoiding me. What are your opinions on this, because right now im stuck. Does anyone know any reason why these girls are avoiding me??

Have you considered maybe they aren't avoiding you, maybe it's something else, maybe they had something on their mind (i left the stove on and got to get back home to turn it off) and at that moment, they HAPPENED to be looking in your direction. Just remember, people and things arent always about you, sometimes people have things on their minds or last min. thoughts pop into their heads. dont take it personally.
Reply:since you said you make the first move, maybe you're moving too fast and those girls don't like you that way, so they feel uncomfortable around you. they might be afraid that you're going to ask them out too soon (since you make all the first moves). This might also give you a reputation of flirting with a bunch of girls, which will drive them away from you if they know that you won't focus on just her.

Reply:It's tough for me to say, because I don't know you. However, just from reading this question, I do notice that you say you are confident, but then say you are scared to talk to girls...maybe you are not as confident as you think. Or maybe you are just paranoid and notice it only when they are not interested, but not when they are. Has EVERY girl you've ever met avoided you, or are you just hung up on the ones that do?

Reply:Some girls dont like you to make the first move. On every girl you ever date you might want to switch it up a little. Say for instance, ask the girls friends what they like and enjoy in a guy and go with that. Always dress for sucess! But always be yourself, you might could tell some fibs here and there, and this is coming from a girl and that is usually what i like to see in a guy. Best of luck!!!
Reply:Short of knowing you personally, how do you expect us to answer this question? Girls ignore guys for various reasons. How do you know they were avoiding YOU specifically? The situations you mentioned are pretty ambiguous; you don't indicate if you said anything to them, and if you did, what, nor do you let us know the specific circumstances surrounding YOU enough to deduce that girls are just going to avoid you no matter what. I mean what? Are you the pariah of the school? Are you popular? The butt of some painful horrible joke that everyone remembers enough to not want to be involved with you?





You don't tell us how you show your confidence around girls (sometimes guys are overconfident and that's offputting). You don't even let us know your style in approaching a girl. It's all sooo cryptic. I hope you have luck finding someone who will tell you what you want to hear, rather than the truth because nothing you've told us makes it possible to give you a straightforward answer.
