Girls Can't you take a nice clean compliment anymore?

this has happened twice now once while i was with my girl at a clothing store a woman will be trying on something and i said i'm not trying to pick you up or anything that looks really nice on you, then they flirt and i say i'm not flirting with you my girl is right there, and they flirt harder i go get my girl and they are still trying, i asked my girl about it and she said some women mistake a compliment for flirting. so the next time i did it while my girl was standing right beside me and the same thing happened and my girl said well maybe you can't be nice and give compliments to women. maybe they will always mis-interpret wow how sad, it's not like i am the best looking dud or something far from it i just like to be nice to guys and girls so ladies tell me is this common and do i need to stop giving compliments to women

Not all women think it is a pick up line. And actually if someone other then my hubby were to give me a compliment as you have done, I would say thank you with a smile!





Pick up lines are a dime a dozen. And I believe that a mature woman would realize that it is nothing more then a comment and should make them feel really great about how they look and that someone with an eye such as yours is exactly what they need to boost their egos!

2) Are your complements really INNOCENT?
Reply:I'm trying to think now about who said something nice to me last, and if was about how I looked or about what I was doing, and yes, sure enough, most compliments were done in a flirtatious manner.





Maybe you have to be more selective about who you're complimenting. Or be prepared to do some flirting.
Reply:That flirting is to be taken in the same vein you dish out your compliment - it's a light-hearted bit of fun on the woman's side, they know you've got a gf (she's standing next to you!) you shouldn't take it all so seriously.


Compliments are wonderful, please continue to compliment and lighten up.
