Girls only, am I wasting my time with this girl or what?

I'm Alex and recently met a good looking girl who caught my interest. We've been talking for a few weeks now, she was the first to admit she has a thing for me. But for some reason everytime I ask her to go out to eat or movie she refuses and says she is busy? Could it be that is testing my pulse or playing hard to get? She is a nice girl (so it seems) but seriously girls I am wasting my time with this girl? What is the point of getting to know a girl if she doesn't even want to go out? Girls please help me out.

it seems like she is playing hard to get. she may has a thing for you but she mght be somewhat of a player!
Reply:No offense, but she's probably not into you as much as she was anymore so she doesnt see blowing you off as a big deal.Just give her like a couple more weeks if you really want to get to know her, but if not, just move on because those are weeks of your LIFE that you could be hanging with someone else and you can't take them back...so my advice, don't waste time
Reply:just cause she dosent want to go out dosent mean she dosent like you. if need to go out then need to find girl with similar interest and then can join you. some girls are homebodies and are content just where they are and should play hard to get. why settle for less if guy is right one might like the tease since easy seem,s to be such a big turn off and play hard to get and still complain. what do men really look for easy or hard to get ? pick one unless to hard to please no matter what she does. how pathetic.
Reply:No, if she didn't want to go out with you, she wouldn't have admitted to having feelings to you. She may just be trully busy. Give her a chance and ask her again.

Reply:Alex, me personally, I would leave the situation alone. Maybe if you back off, and cool down about it, she will step up and show she's into you for real. I used to love the challenge of getting a guy. And once I got him,and he seemed totally into me, it was boring. The pursuit was the best part. I pulled that on a guy 1 time, and when he figured it out, he stopped taking my calls for 2 weeks. It drove me nuts. I figured I met my match and we dated from 9-12th grade and broke up only because I moved. Its worth a shot.
Reply:Alex, maybe she really is busy! Or maybe there is some other issue in the way that she doesn't want to talk about. Either way though, just keep being her friend and see if it keeps working, if it does, great, if not, sorry, but there's someone else out there.


The point of getting to know a girl who doesn't want to go out with you is friendship, by the way.
Reply:it seems that she's leading you on. try to ask her out agen maybe twice and by the 2nd time you ask her if she still makes whatever excuses then move on...
Reply:How old are you? How old is the girl? If you are over 18 and so is she, then she either has a bf, or isn't interested in you that way. If she is younger, it could be a cultural thing. Some families do not let their girls date. period. And some don't let them date until they are 16. Or any number of things. You might just have to ask her honestly whether she is ever going to say yes to a date with you, if you really want to know. You could just leave her alone for a week or two. Play a little hard to get yourself, Might make you look better to her.

Ask her when her next off day is,%26amp; ask her what she likes to do %26amp; when? Then ask her when you can do something she likes to do with her. If she still says she's busy, give her your number tell her since she is so busy you will leave her alone until she has a time free to go out with you or stay in with you. Either way you don't want to be a bother %26amp; tell her to just call you whenever she has time to talk. Then leave her alone until she calls you.
Reply:that happens sometimes.. when a girl falls for a guy, but then she sees how much he's into her and loses interest. i say .. dont call her for a few days.. make her things that u have other things u wanna do besides talking to her.. then she'll be asking u out!

Reply:Don't feel that way... you are not wasting time. It's not like she does not want to go at all.. Sometimes we are in a position where we can't go you know... If she never liked you, she wouldn't have told you she has a thing for you. Give it some time for a bit.
Reply:I don't think ur wastin ur time. She might be alittle shy, or possibly she's really busy. Don't let it bother you, but if it keeps happening I would talk to her about it.

If you met her in person maybe she is busy and has a lot on her plate. There are a lot of things that could be the case.





If you met her on the net, she may not look like what she said she looks like and therefore doesn't want you to know that...

Reply:shes probably really busy or just playing hard 2 get. either way, if she said she likes u, she should make time for u. dont sit there and wait for her. just ask her "do u want to go out or not?" and if she pauses or has to think about it, then she really doesnt have time for u, so i suggest that u just move on as best as u can bfore this girl takes up too much of ur time. there r plenty of other girls out there that will appreciate u a lot more, u just have to find 1.

Reply:She either has a boyfriend already or she has her eye on one. She is holding you at arms length to see how things work out with the other guy first. You don't need to be toyed with. Keep being nice but cool off and start looking around. You deserve to be treated like you matter and she isn't doing that.
