My mom and I have been discussing various options in dealing with my sister's situation. My sister's "friends" problem has been going on for over 2 months now and it seems to be getting worse each day. My sister was friends with a girl Kelsey**, kelsey was not a good influence and was mean to my sister Morgan**'s friends. So My sister Morgan, decided she did not want to be friends with a girl who was so mean. Morgan had many friends, but stuck up for one of her friends who Kelsey was bullying. for some reason, these girls gravitated towards kelsey and now everyone hates morgan and they are all friends with Kelsey. everyday my sister endures teasing, rumors, avoidance and other cruel things girls do to each other. Unfortunetly the guy to girl ratio is 15 boys to 1 girl. therefore there are not many girls in my sisters grade, so when this happend, she didnt have any other girls to turn to. we need advice before this takes a significant toll on my sister and her well being.
Girls outcasting my sister to the point where she does not want to go to school?
Three things: 1. Help her build her self esteem, maybe a makeover or something and let her find the confidence through that.
2. Perhaps she can find friends outside of school.
3. If it's that bad, switch her school.
Frankly she sounds like she's got a good head on her shoulders and recognizing those friends are unworthy of her friendship. She is exceptionally one of the good ones. And you can tell her I said so! Kudo's to you Morgan!
Reply:Can she change schools?
Reply:she should try to change schools
